Then there's International Drive - five miles of
non-stop activity including shopping malls, hotels, bars, restaurants
and entertainments.
Drive along highway 192 - there is so much to see
and do that it's difficult to take it all in at your first attempt. Shops,
diners, family restaurants, smart eateries, factory outlets, dinner theatres,
amusement park thrills, water parks,… it goes on.
Or visit Celebration, a small town which celebrates
good quality, and spend some tranquil time with the opportunity for fine
dining.
If you want a change from the more hectic activities,
you can rest by your own private pool or take an easy drive to the beaches
on the Gulf Coast or, in the other direction, go and visit Cape Kennedy,
inspect a Saturn Rocket and the Moon Landing Module. Stand inside a space
shuttle and even view a launch. Central Florida is so close to all these
possibilities.
If you fancy some sporting activities, there is
a BIG choice of golf courses, some with tennis. You can fish in lake
Louisa or one of the smaller lakes in the state park just 10 minutes up
the road or you can even hire an airboat. And for the more energetic
holidaymaker there is always the gym.
And the people are so friendly, they really make
you feel welcome. Such hospitality, combined with the wonderful weather
and the fantastic facilities and attractions means that when it's time
to come home you're already planning your next visit.
